Your image immediately draws attention to the brown eagle starring right at you. The framing by the branches, and the clean blue sky set off the warmish colored eagle. I agree with cropping in for increased prominence. Nice capture Les. |

Barbara, this is a difficult one. To me there is too much going on here. I would suggest using only the top half of the center section. Attempting to include the bottom half unfortunately includes the prominent tree limb leading the viewer off the image. I suspect you were seeing an abstract in nature here and tried to capture it. Nice thought. |

Twilight is always a great time for picture taking. You've captured the train and scene well Tom. My personal style would be to draw attention for the viewer immediately to the subject, in this instance the entire train. My thinking would be to brighten the train, lessen the brightness of the steam, and somewhat darken the sky. |
