I like your creativity Grace. A patterned print improved by compositing in a mermaid. Very nice image. |

The exchange of money is the focus point, and the interesting expression by the boy really adds to your story, Les. I favor de-emphasizing the background images like this. In this case I selected the background and lessened brightness by -23. The forearm of the shopper is a distraction, and may have been exaggerated by the extra wide focal distance of 18. Nice image |

Very nice affect Tony. Subjects really stands out from background. The only suggestion I can offer, Tony, is during the selection process see if it can be determined how to ovoid the white fringing surrounding the parachute. |

I prefer the original and have worked it over with the new artificial intelligence program from Topaz Labs, named ai clear. Objectively, I pushed this process a bit too far causing some fringing. But find it interesting how far technology has come. |

Thanks Les for a touch of realism. I too agree and never thought of this for competition. Just wondering what techniques were preferred in down playing the nasty background. |

Truly colorful wagon with variety of colors. Lovely mountain scene with blue sky with clouds as background. The difficulty, Tom, both foreground and background are wonderful. In your mind, which do you prefer? Then move towards lessening the distraction of the other would be my opinion. |
