The proportion of the haystack to image size is good, your composition and the leading line of the beach are handled well Tony. I do not feel the left side of the image adds.

Eyes are distinctively sharp. Feathers with whitish coloration adds. I feel there is sufficient separation between the subject and background. I love it the way it is. Nice capture Barbara.

Tom, I feel focusing the viewer to the store front is key, whatever technique. Keeping the whole image I favor Les's suggestion with sephia tone and vignetting. Or another view is closing in on the store front. Here I decreased the luminance on the grass, brightened somewhat the store sign and selectively increased exposure inside. |

Hi Barbara. Those are the steps I was applying and the problem I experienced was the inability of transforming the selection, even though the layer was active. Any further ideas? Thanks |
