Hi Barbara. This building was tightly abutted to neighboring buildings. In this circumstance would you still suggest moving the fire escape, even if it meant cropping off the left column of windows? |

Unfortunately, Tony, the shade that was available came through lightly, ie. see second floor - much lighter gray that fire escape. Yes between floors 3 and 4 the shadow is darker. Thanks for the observation. |

Got to love the subtle coloration at dusk. Good focus and exposure. In my opinion the columns to both sides were a distraction from your story. Nice capture Tuhin. |

Nice capture Barbara. Story of bird gathering nesting material is quite evident. Focus is right on; exposure and composition are well. I took the liberty of removing some twigs for your thoughts. |

In my opinion Tom, when the shadows were opened in the foreground the image became too flat. I have deepened the shadows, brought some more brightness back to the flowers. To the side of the cabin I have increased the contrast and slightly decreased the brightness. |

The image pulls the viewer right in, with the view of the child reaching. Great story being told here. Right exposure, focus and composition. This is a keeper Lloyd. |

Lovely image Tony. Creates interest. Golden reflection from tracks provide leading lines. Also adding is the golden reflection on the left side houses and several cars. The trolley track power lines do distract somewhat. Very nice. |

Thanks so much, Steve, for sharing a part of your article on a few of Walker Evan's images from the thirties. The image you shared I favored the most for it's repetitiveness of shapes and patterns. |
