I also like the viewpoint you chose, Tuhin, choosing to convert to black and white, and your including the branches. I will pass along something I learned at our PSA Conference a couple years back. One presenter, do not remember his name, but highly acclaimed with over 3,000 images accepted over his career-mostly conversions. Before converting measurably increase Contrast and Saturation. Fine picking - eliminate the tiny branches blocking a full view of the top of the tower. To be different, keep the bottom bushes in color and brighten them. |

I favor your converting to Black and White, like the blurred waterfalls and the mist, the composition emphasizing the foreground and the path through to the back of the image. I do like Tom's opening the shadows and working on the highlights. This is a very nice image, Nikkos. I do have one thought though. I would have favored if through composition and lighting for the eye to be drawn through the valley of the waterfall to the back of the image. Instead my eyes are being drawn first to the falls, then side to side. What focal distance did you use? |

Having just been to the Pacific ocean I can only imagine how dramatic this scene would become in a strong storm. Oh well, back to reality. I like that the shadows have been opened to reveal detail in the rocks, and the smoothing of the waves. Nice soothing image Tony. |

Got to love God's little creatures like hummingbirds. Like the side view and the sharpness from upper body up. One thought about controlling sharpening might be to add a layer to use for sharpening, then back off opacity if needed. Nice capture Barbara. |

Nicely done Tom. I like that the dust being generated serves to separate both the rider and the horse from the background. The eye immediately is attracted to the steer wrestler and his self-assurance Good composition. As an alternative one could crop solely in on the steer wrestler and the steer. |
