Lloyd, I understand your point but, being objective, I personally do not favor. |

Converting to b & w was a good choice, Tony, allowing the viewer to concentrate on the beauty of the moment between mother and new born. Congratulations grandpa and to your daughter. |

The viewer's eye is nicely drawn immediately to the kite surfer and his surf board, then on to the kites. Stepping up the overall saturation adds zip. As a variance, Nikos, sometimes I like to tone down the saturation level of the overall image, except for the subject, for separation. |

Nice clean image Tom. The rustic colored lighthouse contrasting with the pretty blue sky and calm water. One question, though. I am unclear how to refer to the support towers leading to the lighthouse. They appear to occupy about 2-3 times the area the lighthouse does. Obviously they appealed to the composition. Can you clarify this a bit for me Tom? |

I like the composition you achieved, Barbara, straight at the eye, wings spread, and full capture of the underbelly. Had your feeder been included that would add to the story. As you are entering this image in Nature, I am positive it is crystal sharp and in focus. However, somewhere in preparation to submit your image to our group, Barbara, the sharpness and focus were lost, at least at my monitor. |
