Tom, I thought I would try increasing the midtones, some contrast and vibrancy to see what I would get. Also I slightly brightened the eye and teeth. |

Nice two-thirds composition about the face. Subject's piercing eyes and unique formation about the mouth really add interest. Your work around the eyes is fine. B & W eliminates the background distractions. Nice portrait Nikos. |

Great moment, great timing. I like the harmony of the background colors with the baby's flesh tones. Going forward you might consider having a reflector to lessen the light differential from one side to the other. |

With the glass window on the ground level, I am wondering if there was any interesting detail to be brought out Tony. I too like the sepia and the Orton affects. I agree with Barbara about cropping in from the right. Also you could consider some buring on the horse and the wagon. Good image. |

Barbara,I am drawn into you image by the major curvature pattern of the two tree trunks and repeated throughout by many limbs. Burning in the edges helps the eyes remain on subject, and I like the sepia affect here. The one thought I have as is the foreground and the tree(s) are given equal presence. Is this our intent? |

Barbara you are good. You nailed the two reasons I submitted this image - upper flowers and chair legs. I checked my image on another computer and it too looks too dark. Time to re-balance my main monitor. Thanks |
