I also like the suggested square ratio Nikos. |

Yes, Tony, I too favor using "select and mask" for refine edge assistance. I even went back a couple additional times to see if it would do a better job. Actually this couple stay next door. The timing of my image was right after mating. |

Tuhin, I really like the leading line right to your subject. I feel the gazebo brings some additional interest. Exposure and focus appear fine. I would disagree with Tony on light balance this time. Yes, it does not look natural, but when compared with the original, really adds brightness and interests. I, too, agree with Barbara’s suggestions on cropping. |

Another fine story. I like the timing capturing the skater nearing his closest point to you, Nikos. The course curvature, and especially the upper perimeter line, really adds. I like how your composition has the skater below the upper line, and not braking it. The lighting on the skater’s body and arms adds interest. Like Barbara, I would suggest lightening the background and the skater. |

Tony, I like how you have framed the bird and placed it accordingly. The twig coming up to the bird serves as a leading line. The curvature of the limb adds interest and, on this one, I would disagree with Tom about any cropping. The bird appears to be looking upward, so I like the limb being left in. The bird contrast well against the floral background. I would lower the brightness of the lower part of your image, including the limb, as I find it trying to pull my eye. |

Tom, I like that the composition is in tight, yet broad enough to recognize what the pattern is a part of. Focus and exposure are fine. Eye is drawn to your subject. Tom, what attracted you, what is the story, why did you take this image? Might sepia tone add to your story? Just thinking. Nice idea, definitely different. |
