Really interesting sky,Lloyd. As a suggestion I would compare with a duplicate in which the glare was toned down in the water. Due to the lightness I feel the viewer's eye is too strongly being draw by it. |

Thanks Nikos. When it came to composition I just went by my eye sight. |

Nikos I like how you framed your subject, how simplification, aided by fog, contrasts with the patterened metalwork outside the frame. I like the suggestions Tom has offered. |

Really like the texture in the face, beard and vest, plus adds to the separation from the background. |

Tom,I like how you have added detail in the sky, lightened the train, added structure and added saturation to the building. Nice image. |

When my eyes first landed on your image, I was wondering what we are looking at. An abstract rock formation, with what meaning. The beautiful color in the water and in the sky really assist with the pleasantness found in your image Tony. While beautiful, I believe there is too much negative space surrounding the subject. Then too, I personally might find more interest in the bird flying with the other birds perched at the top. |

The overall affect from selective lighting and brightening is pleasing and eye catching. I like how the warm tone on the subject aids in separating from the bluish cloudy sky in background, and the greenery in the foreground. The curvature of the subject tree really adds interest Barbara.
