Interesting pose by the waitress. On fine color balance required in portraiture work, your adjustment for balance is in a close enough range any adjustment I might make could be accounted for simply by a calibration difference in our monitors. I do favor your cropping in, a bit more intimate. |

Really like the texture, the composition and the subject. I agree with Barbara about off the of the highlights in the background. In the adjustment I have attached I also in Curves backed off the same in the foreground. And I added brightness and contrast to the eye. Nice image. |

Fine image, fine story. Perhaps "Heed thy Word" for a title. I chose to lessen the brightness as I felt the exposure was a bit harsh. Of course it might be my monitor is extra bright. |

I like the low saturation in the background and the angle of your composition. I do favor a bit of contrast between the subject and the balance, so I utilized the smallest increment of fog clearing software on the train. |

Barbara,I like the texture of the sand, the color and the lines leading up to the subject. Once, there, however, I am stumped as to what the subject is. Is this a lizard, a sand puppy or ...? |
