Tom, I love what you produced here! Kudos!
Super colors, composition, layering, concept... I could go on and on.
Keep the clones as they are. Adds to the Matrix feel! |

Beautiful image Henry!
My only thought: You've taken out the window that is the source of the shadows here so it's a bit confusing to see the shadows going the wrong way.

I really like this Brad!
Could it be more grounded? Right now, it feels precariously perched in mid air with nothing supporting it.
You still have some dark halos around the top of the skull from your selection. You can get rid of those by reselecting, Go to Select/Modify/Contract by 2 pixels and that should take care of it. |

Fun idea Marilyn!
Because the hands are the sharpest part of the photo, that's where my eye lands instead of the fish which is the most interesting part. Perhaps blurring the hands would help make the story more complete.

Very fun image and interesting discussion here. I think the shadows don't refer to a light source in the image, so are shadows even needed?
You have a shadow around the window... since you have no light source, the top shadow is curious.
I really like the painting and wish there were just a little something in it, like the chess piece.
All in fun!

Well done! I agree with all that it's a clever composite. I have no suggestions because I like everything you did, including converting to back and white which focuses us on the subjects of interest. |

Peggy, I really like what you did here recomposing the image to show a relationship.
I think I'm missing some toning in the subjects and the background is brighter than the subjects are so that it seems that there's a fight to stay in the center.
I played with your image a bit. I know you wanted to go High Key but thought I like the tones better with it a bit darker in the background and more toned on the subjects. All to taste... |

Thanks for the information Alan. I wasn't aware that adding outside elements was not in the spirit of this group.
Not to worry about sharing your opinion, I appreciate it. |

As Aavo wrote, there may be too many elements which adds to the color mismatch. I agree that some changes are needed in this image, thanks! |
