Love your pun Brad! Thanks! This is a lot of fun for me to get lost in the process. |

You are most kind, Henry! Thank you so much!
The room with the ironing board, the couch, the stove and the greater timbered background were all taken in either Bodie State Park or at Coloma State Park. Both are preserved towns from the Gold Rush era here in California. There is so much to "mine" for photos and pieces for composites that I'll be using them for years! |

Maryellen, I played a bit with it and this is another idea for you to think about... as always, it's your creative effort so just an option. |

Interesting effect Lisa! I can imagine Thor riding a chariot down the rays! |

So much fun and a great photo for this technique!! I really love the Rainbow Cow as a stand alone too! |

What a great concept! I think this is a good start and could use a bit of refinement to take it to the next level.
The selection needs work as Lisa said to clean it up. The lighting could be more uniform and I think you can do more to connect the stretched pixels with the skater too!
Any of these things will really take it into a more dynamic composition to me. |

I really like your experimentation Henry! This reminds me of a linoleum block print.
I wouldn't change a thing. If you were to add a graphic in the top right, the black is a perfect background.

Thanks Lisa. You're absolutely right! I usually try to pay attention to shadows and missed it completely here. My only excuse is that I'm getting old, hah hah!
Thanks for pointing that out and I'll fix before I submit it anywhere else. |

I really like the direction you're going Brad! I, too, love Topaz and use it to "finish" my composites so they have an overall unified look. I think you accomplished that here!
Kudos!
I agree with Peggy that the flower is shy and missing the opportunity to shine in the light. |

Snakes!!! Yikes! You did a good job here and gave me the shivers.
I agree with all said above and like Peggy's version with a bit cleaner lower left area so my eye goes right back to the snake and his lines. |

Brad: Another really interesting composite! I love your choices with the contrast in the de saturated flower and the colored birds. I also applaud you on an excellent job in selecting the birds.
I'm probably the only one who likes the three birds. I'm a three object kind of person and feel it's balanced with three.
You've given yourself lots to play with here and I can see a number of options for you in this composition.
Have fun! |

I love all your attention to detail! I find I get lost looking around and comparing your originals to your final piece and marveling at your artistry and technique.
Super artwork! |

Thanks Peggy! Yes, I agree with you about making those signs more readable. I'll revisit them and see what I can do. |

Thanks Aavo! Yes, he does need a more angry face but in keeping with this story, he doesn't care anymore so his face is "oh, so blase'".

A very fun idea with interesting elements.
I'm distracted by the compositing and think it should be easy to clean up the elements so they blend better (unless that is part of your plan to create tension)

Peggy, Such an elegant and compelling mermaid image!
Love your choices and comparing the two photos, my preference is for the non-foggy photo.
I love this work and hope to see more from you! |
