Thanks Lisa!! You are so right and I really never did my squinty thing to check for things that jump out visually.
I'll fix that for sure! |

Maryellen, I love that you threw in the kitchen sink here! That's the way to learn and have fun! The bendy house is perfect!
I agree with Brad that a bit less might make a more pleasing image only because you have a lot of bright colors and many elements.
My suggestion is to pick one or two elements that you really like and strip everything else away. You might find another great image. |

Thanks Henry! Yeah, I'm such a mystery woman although you've seen me on Zoom.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look around for a better shot. |

So interesting!! I love reading the intention behind your creation.
I'm with Henry on not feeling that "rekindled" love but I'm glad it's a motivator!
I think the treatment of the flower with the paint strokes conveys a feeling of tension and the closed, inward pointing petals conveys a closing instead of an invitation. I also think the dark interior is scary, hah hah.
This is really about YOUR feelings and that's what's important. But I did play with it to show you what I think rekindled love might look like from my perspective. |

I certainly hope you try it too! It's very fun and open to so much creativity. |

Thanks Aavo! The grey shadow is the reflection of the building in the window. It's in the original. Perhaps a bit too bright though. |

Marilyn, I like how you placed the turtle on the rock! I agree that I had to search for the snail. If it's important to your story, then perhaps you'd like to place it somewhere more prominent. Perhaps to the left of the turtles head?
I like the softness of the sun drenched composition and wonder if the sun rays might be softened to match the overall feeling of your composition?

Brad, this composite is delicious and very successful! I think you could sell this one!
The colors bring my eyes in and the structure keeps them in the photos. I love your choices.
The red tips are almost menacing and remind me of "Little Shop of Horrors".

The story is left to the viewer's interp
The horse is the only one communicating directly with me and I wish he could talk, lol! |

I love your playful image! The pumpkin lends itself to a fun story.
I agree about the man on top. He doesn't fit into the photo with his tone and coloration but I think that can be easily fixed.
My suggestion is that the blending could use more work. The two front pumpkins have sand that's soft and a bit transparent. If you look at the originals, the sand still has hard edges. Although we know it's not real, the composite is somewhere between reality and fantasy because of your blending choices. I'd love to see you work a bit more on this. |

Peggy, I love everything about this! The twirls, the swirls, the texture, the stars, the modified model photo, the colors... phew! It all comes together in a gorgeous blend of futuristic melange.
I see a SciFi book cover... |
