Creating art is my escape. Otherwise, I'd drive myself crazy. 😉 |

Thanks so much Henry. Good idea on the "baby".
There's a huge fire about 25 miles away as the crow flies. We aren't in any danger right now and there are lots of resources fighting this one. As of yesterday, we finally saw blue sky. What a wonderful anti-depressant! Here's a photo I took the day the fire started 17 miles from here. |

Henry, I love how you are constantly learning and challenging yourself!
I agree with all that has been offered above, especially what Maryellen wrote about separate layers for each object to select and cut out.
Once you've gotten a clean selection, you can hit control J to create a new layer with the selection. Then click on the eyeball to turn off the original layer.
If you work in Smart objects, you can always go back and change your decisions. (right click and click on "convert to smart object when you are on the preferred layer) |

Actually, Maryellen, my friend really doesn't like this. If you go to DSG 54, you'll see the one she likes. She's a professional photographer and is really into "professional portraits " so this creative stuff isn't her thing. She asked me why I like to make such "macabre" pictures one time, lol!! |

Very pretty Lisa! I love playing around in Topaz because of beauties like this one.
Now if only you can add pulsing lights and we'll be ready for disco again, lol!

Wow! I just love what you created Maryellen!
Amazing work... the colors, the composition and the texture all all pleasing to look at.
Keep playing with this design idea... it's a winner! |

I really like this composite Brad.
I like the perspective of the flowers, the sky behind them and the movement you added.
My one suggestion would be to lighten the bottom and instead of a dark mountain, give it more color to match the rest of your photo.
I've played a little to show you what I mean. |

Welcome to the Group Marilyn!
I enjoyed your image and don't feel like I can add anything to what has already been offered by others (This is been a crazy month for me and I will be better at critiquing in 2021)
My advice is to be true to yourself and your work.
I'm looking forward to seeing more from you! |

Love it!
Very fun image Peggy. I don't have a problem with the pink background and think it adds to the whimsy of the photo.

Another interesting idea and execution Brad!
When I squint my eyes, I really like the man with the blue umbrella, to my taste perhaps a bit more diffused?
Love your creativity these days! |
