I agree with everyone... nice job! I especially liked that you took out the extra row of cars on the park side.
I used to eat lunch every day in that park when I was younger so it resonates even more with me! |

Beautiful composition here! I love the colors, the splats, the twists the turns... I love it all!
Great job! I haven't heard of this course but I will definitely look into it! |

Purple hues are my favorite so how can I not love this! Twirls have definitely been going around again and why not, they are so much fun to do and see the results.
Thanks for sharing your at-home play! |

Henry, I'm with Brad in that I enjoy your experimentation! You put together images and colors that wouldn't occur to me and I am always delighted with your splash of brights! |

Thank you Brad! I'm so glad you like this. It's part of a series that will be shown in a Roseville Gallery next month. I love going to the fair with my camera and am sad that everything is cancelled this year. |

Brad,
I'm so glad you're enjoying Topaz filters. This is a nice use of them for this theme! I really get the "chi" feel from this photo.
It looks like all the flowers are creating "Chi' and making a river of it for your son to bath in.
Very cool! |

Thank you all very much for your thoughtful comments. It seems that you all don't like the tree growing out of her back. So interesting because the original by Mario Sanchez Nevado, is based on a tree growing out of a woman's back. I've included his original art to illustrate what I based my original on.
I will study your comments and see if the suggested changes make sense when I revise this.
I appreciate your attention to the details and your vision for improvement! |

Brad, This is such a nice concept and I like your thought process!
I find that the missing path doesn't bother me because I assume it fell off into the ocean, lol.
What I would like to see is work on the light directionality.
The ocean has a strong light from the right, the sweeper has a subdued light from above with a shadow by his feet in the original, and there is a definitive shadow on the road. I'd like to see you work with this more to make the light consistent throughout. |

Alan, I really like the textures you're using here to great effect. The new composition is definitely a winner in my mind. The elements that you put together really work in this room and my eye enjoys exploring all of them.

Peggy,
I really love what you did here! The theme, the jaguar coming out of the book, so very well done.
I like the decision to make it mono too!
To me, the bright spot can go... it's not adding anything to the overall photo.
One question... what about the light directionality? The book has light from the left. Could your jaguar use a little shadowing as his emerging foot would look more real?
Just a thought because overall the composite is delightful!
