41 Dec 18 Comment Thanks for all your comments!
This was really a departure for me and a result of just letting my imagination get away with me, hah hah!

I'm happy Jan played with it and got something interesting.

Yes, there's a lot I can do to make this MUCH MUCH better but since it was not very serious, I won't spend any more time on it (for now)

41 Dec 18 Comment Super creativity!
I really don't have any worthwhile critique for you.
I thought those nuts and bolts were little people until I enlarged the photo, hah hah!

41 Dec 18 Comment What a fun concept and creative idea!!
Very fun and agree that it's well done!

I really like this and had to wonder about it for a while because there is something that I thought might help, but not sure.
I think if you play around with the colors a bit, you might come across something that will make this even better. I changed the color cast to a more blue-ish color just to play. Not sure that it made any difference but worth a try. See what you think.

41 Dec 18 Comment I love your Coco composites!
As much as I love the background photo, I don't think it fits with the hard reality of the tree and Coco.
I took your photo into Topaz Simplify and just did an easy adjustment.
I think it blends the hard and the soft.
What do you think?

41 Dec 18 Comment I really like your composite Henry.
You've created a stippling effect on the orchids which I really like!
I also like your close up crop and color choices! Good job!

41 Dec 18 Comment Great blending of two images~
Really can't add anything to what has already been written. I think the light on the receding waves is very special.

56 Dec 18 Comment I'm so impressed that you did this all in Painter! It's a very robust program with lots of control so kudos to you!

Beautiful job!

56 Dec 18 Comment You did a great job making the zebras move with an interesting result.
Nancy, I agree with you that the blue was overpowering the photo but I like the water.
I made it match the movement of the photo and brought the luminence down so it wasn't so eye-trapping.

Ho Ho HO! Merry Christmas to you too!

56 Dec 18 Comment Very punchy fun photo! I especially like what you did with the background as a supporting character! Dec 16th
56 Dec 18 Comment I really like your original photo and understand why you might want to paint that impressive desert!

I feel the painting softens the edges so much that it takes away from the depth and impact of the contrast present in the original photo.

But I imagine that this is a reflection of how you felt as you gazed out into this scene?
