Yolanda, I agree with the others. What a clever and compelling treatment to zing up an otherwise pretty flower picture.
It looks very commercial, like it would be a great fabric for an accessory.

Henry, welcome to the group! I'm a newbie too! We'll learn together.
I like your photo and your interpretation.
The two areas that grab my eye are the dark green in the lower left and the bright white of the pod on the right. To my eye, a better balance will be lightening the green and lowering the intensity of the pod to give my eye a chance to roam around the photo.
Your feathering effect is lovely! |

What a great visual! I applaud you for seeing this final product based on your original picture!
Love what you did with it! And I, too, am a big fan of Topaz Filters! |

Nice blend achieving your goal of a surreal scene. |

Have you been inside the buildings Nancy?
I was participating in a Betty Sederquist workshop where we were let into about six buildings during the day.
Lots of opportunities to take pictures of things that you can't see from the outside. |

Beautiful!
Such a wonderful photo to begin with and lovely painted rendition!
I would have liked the lake reflection to be more muted and blurry to show the distinction between the water and the trees.

Wow, I'm impressed that you did this all in Photoshop! Good on ya!
I agree with the other comments about removing the 4th torso.
This is a winner! |

Very pretty rendition.
I wish I could have looked at a larger file as it's hard to make any constructive comments with this small picture. |

Colorful and eye-catching!
I use Impressions and it looks like there are different brush strokes applied to the first and second boat.
What program did you use to composite the two pictures and what file format did you use in Impressions?
I've found that I need to make sure the composite is completely merged in PS and the bit depth is the same all over. |

I really like the choices you made to paint this photo. You retained the warm color and softened the hard contrasty edges with nice results.
