I too applaud you for your creativity! I really like how you folded the napkin so that there were leading lines and contrast that "nestled" the cherry in the most perfect place.
The texture was just enough and did't fight for attention with the juicy cherry.
And I agree with Pat about your choice to add a reflective red to tie in and bring our eye back to the center! |

Nice treatment for a winter scene!
This is also very editorial since you left a really expansive negative space if anyone want to put titles or information. |

I like the texture you added and the vibrant color. It's a great improvement on the original!

I really like this Impressionist scene, Nancy, and think you did a lovely job compositing.
I agree with Pat about the "family dog" that just looks like a dark blob. You probably can bring that detail back pretty easily.
I also like that you eliminate the shadow on the standing man. It didn't add anything to the original photo so bravo! |

Fun treatment for a fun photo! I can almost see the animated cartoon associated with the bright colors.
I am one that's not bothered by the numbers. It's your artistic choice depending on the story you want to tell.
I would like to see a bit more definition on the fire. At first, I didn't know what that was until I looked at the original.
All in all, a fun time seems to be had by all! |

I can see why this display caught your eye! It's quite lovely and begs for some artistic treatment.
I like that you decreased the contrast. It gives the photo a dreamy look.
I really like Topaz Impression and use it many times for a painterly look. I'll have to take another look at Georgia O'Keefe!
I agree with Gerhard and Pat that this photo could be further enhanced with a bit more editing. The pillar could be covered all the way up by the fabric already at the bottom with some cloning.
The flowers could have some more definition without ruining the effect you are trying to create. |
