I've never been to Normandy. This must have been very moving.
Nice color saturation in the flowers.
The statue is a bit dark and I would love to see the detail better. |

Great photo Pat! I really like the montage and what you've done with fitting the flag to your granddaughters face.
What software program did you use to do this?
Very cool effect! |

Happy Canada Day to you Tim!
Looks like typical lake side weather in Hamilton with the wind blowing the flag.
I like the color contrast between the red of the flag and the blue of the sky.

Wow, it's fun being one of the last to weigh in on a photo! I get to see the picture from everyone's perspective... fun and educational.
I like your latest rendition Chuck much better with the changes suggested by the group.
I still see some sort of halo on the top of the hill and it almost looks like you added a new sky to the picture because of the white behind the trees on the left.
Sorry that your camera gear was stolen. Such a bummer when that happens! |

Lovely photo with nice contrast. The clarity of the stamens and detail make this a very interesting photo.
I have no suggestions. Great photo! |

I really like aspects of your main selection such as the grainy ground which gives me a feel of movement and tight crop without the white line.
I like the solid black and white rider in Original 1. And I like the peak into the riders helmet in three.
Nice action shots! |

Count me in as another who agrees with Cindy's suggestions about cropping the water.
And I too, like the mono version better than the color. It adds so much more drama to the shot.

Great portrait of a very interesting subject!
I agree with everyone that you did a great job with your editing out of the diamond and the technical details are spot on.
I also like the crop on the mono version so that I can really focus on her face in detail. |

Really nice photo of the old window and glass. I like the mono version better because I can see the details inside the glass that keep me interested in staying and looking around.
I like your selection of keeping a bit of the siding around the window as it gives it an interesting frame that pulls me into the picture. |

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll do something about that Panda on the bottom right.
The Chinese writing is a chop that means "Panda"... I just liked the look.
I'd love to give you details but I honestly can't remember what I did. Sometimes I just start playing and don't remember to document what I'm doing sorry to say. I need to get better at paying attention to documenting my technique.
I've been working with On1 trying to get a sense of how to use it better and I think this is one of the times. |

Beautiful Nancy!
I love how you softened the image and gave it a filtered yellow light to enhance the dreamy look.
The painterly background really supports the main subjects of flowers and photo without distracting.
It has a Vermeer-like quality that I find very compelling.
I also really like your floating frame with the gold that sets the photo apart from the background.

Yes to everything said so far.
In addition, I love the texture of the paint that makes it appear richly colored... almost like crayon and acrylic. Great effect! |

What a beautiful setting and I love the color palette of the pink castle set off by the greens and blues.
I agree with Nancy about the haze and cropping in the top left to eliminate the sky.
There is also a halo over the lower mountain top which isn't in the original so I imagine it's the result of Alien Skin.
