Without the colors of the sunrise you were hoping for it is a little flat for me. The road leads me into the image but to power pole and the lines and they distract me. I can see why you were drawn to the image and if only the sunrise had cooperated it would have worked. |

I like the early morning feeling it evokes. Reminds me of when I loved to be on the water at first light, the quiet, cold, dampness of it. I used LRcc to add a graduated filter to the background at -78 stop to de-emphsise it, then a adjustment brush to add +51 stop to the boat to help it a little and then bumped the dehaze slider to +19 for the overall image. Just my thought and feel for it. |

Lamar, yes I did consider that. The problem that day was the number of people on the beach. I kept moving and waiting and they kept coming so I took what they gave me. Really wish I had the Sony camera with me so I could take several images and cut the people out or a long exposure to smooth the water and let the moving people simply disappear. |
