Lovely tender moment. Nice colors and light control, although I found your vignette a little too strong. This is a keeper! |

I agree with the comments above. Your Heron is very crisp, but it isn't easy to control the depth of field with a phone camera as the f-stop is really high. It is possible to blur the background.
The iPhone is great for photography, especially since it is almost always on you. (The best camera is the one you have on you!) Unfortunately, one can't get the same image control as a camera.

Nice capture.
Infrared is a different beast, especially when it comes to color balance. As we can't see this portion of the light spectrum, the colors captured do not reflect what we see.
I prefer a B/W conversion.
Nice composition and color contrast. Have fun in your Infrared adventures! |

Nice capture of a united family. I like the cropping, although, having the full hind of the baby on the left would have been nice. Appropriate "brownish" colors of Africa. Nice details.
Simply lovely. |

Macro photography makes us seeing a worlds full of wonders!
Keeping the insect in focus is very hard as the depth of field becomes very shallow. Furthermore, increasing the f stops too much can lead to diffraction artifacts.
Tips: Cool early mornings: Insects are less active when their metabolism is decreased (and you might get some nice dew on the animal); Keeping the lens parallel to the insect to increase the areas in focus; Taking multiple images with a fast shutter rate while moving the focus ring; Focus stacking (either doing it manually or automatically (some camera will do this for you!).
How and what to crop involves many artistic decisions. I prefer not to cut any portion of the insect. I took the liberty to suggest a different crop.

Thanks Kirk. I agree with you. I have similar images in the winter with my wife wearing a red coat. I made 2 images, one in full colors and one with a B/W conversion except for my wife. The color subject with B/W surrounding really makes one fix us on the subject. |

Imposing tents! I would have like to have a wider view of these tents, but this might not be possible. Nice control of the Bright and dark areas with no obvious diffraction.
Nicely done. |

Beautiful work. Huge depth of field with nice details on the Joshua trees. Everything is crisp except the close foreground (likely due to motion artefacts). I might be tempted to crop out the bottom blurred section of your image. |

Very cool. This arch is so different from the ones found in Moab. This arch is so smooth, almost sensual with various area of soft light and shadows. The beautiful sky complements this arch very nicely.
Great image. No suggestions. |

Very nice details on this big rock! The sky is cloudless, but this is one need to expect in such an arid area.
I find that the foreground is a little dark and possibly oversaturated.
Nice work. |

Nice journalistic image. This image is really showing the magnitude of the flood but I am wondering why you used a B/W conversion? |

Very nice image. Interesting clouds, crisp details everywhere, nice water reflection. I like the framing and that the bench is not centered.
Lovely.
p.s.: I am wondering if you used a polarized filter, although not mentioned. |
