Hi Jacob,
Your patience is paying off! It is nice to see that the flowers, the flower buds, as well as the hornet are all in good condition. I like the contrast with the greener buds on the top left.
I totally agree with removing the other insect on the left bottom corner that was present on the original simply by cropping it off.
I agree with the above comments re competing colors... What to do? I tried to decrease the saturation on the "orange" channel, but did not like the result. I took the liberty to do a B/W transformation. What do you think? |

Tack sharp on the 2 front birds. I agree with Dean that having the 2 parents is a plus, even if the one in the back is out of focus.
Traveling with camera and lens.... This is one of the reasons I have a micro 4/3rd. It allows one to travel light. I still prefer my full format when I do not have to fly. |
