Hi Jacob,
Nice work. You certainly remove all the distractions. I found your image a little dark, but this is not wrong - it depends on the mood you want to invoque. In general, most judges would like a B/W image to display the whole tonal range from pure Black to pure White. I tried to work on your image to increase this range in your image (always better to work on the original than a small JPG copy!). |

Thanks for this nice version. You used a much tighter cropping and stronger vignette bringing the attention mainly on the warbler. |

I Geoff. Fantastic capture - sharp details - nice cropping and lines. I love its posture as well as the contrast between the eye color and everything else. To be picky, I would like to see better the tip of its tail... maybe decreasing the saturation a smudge would do the trick. I would certainly put this one on my wall! |

Brenda, for me this is a WOW +. Fantastic capture and post-processing work. The left bird lost the tip of the middle tail feather, but I believe that could be part of the story. I do not have anything to suggest. Fantastic as it is!

Nice catch. The water makes a nice and "muted" background. Very sharp. I think that I might have tried to open up the shadows a little bit, but great as it is.

Thanks Geoff. I like your way to decide if you really like a picture or not, and I agree with you.

Wow. Very nice images - sharp, well processed. I am not sure how the second image is a composite of 2 images.
For me is whether to choose the original image or the posted image as my favorite.
On the original: 3 cardinals, all in action, but the second one is partly masked by the branch. On the submitted image: 2 cardinals arguing. I think that I prefer the original one, despite the problem with the middle one. They are really both superb.
I would like to see which 2 images were used to make your composite. |

Simply superb! I love the pose, details, sharpness, colors, cropping, and bird's acrobatic performance.
Fantastic image. |

Hi Frans,
I found that ON1 works very well for me. There is an integrated Noise Reduction/Sharpening AI that works wonderfully. They just added an AI resize module, also integrated, that also works very nicely.
Since I started using ON1, I essentially do not need PS or LR.

Hi Terina,
I worked with the original. Slightly decrease the haze, decrease the shadows, but mainly increase the mid-tones. |

Welcome To PSA DD 70 Frans.
Architectural photography could be a real challenge when traveling with all these tourists around. Furthermore, architectural photography takes time to set up properly with the aim of respecting perspectives. You nailed it even with these constraints! Fantastic results.

Welcome to PSA DD 70 Geoff.
Pristine sand dunes... Nice curvy lines, perspective, depth, as well as light/shadows created by the undulations. Nice contrast in colors and texture with the sky.
It is difficult to imagine the relative size of this landscape. To have a reference point (animal, human, etc..) would be fantastic but would probably affect the purity of the scene. |

Welcome to our PSA DD group.
Fantastic first image. Very moody, colorful, mysterious... Nice lines, perspective, depth, and milky water effect with this long exposure. I do not have any suggestions on how to improve this beautiful image.

Hi Katheryn,
I love the mood of your image. Multilayered clouds, mountains, and a hilly city in the foreground. Nice nuances of light and shadows. I like the cropping that suggest a slight "smile" from the mid left to the mid right of the image (following the tree/forest line).
Just beautiful.
I might be tempted to dehaze a little bid and increase the saturation a smidge on the upper portion of the image - just a suggestion. |
