Very nice action shot. Need to stay away from these powerful claws!
Lovely capture. |

Very nice capture. I agree with everyone in removing the leaf - although this is not always allowed in competitions (very important to read all the rules....). It looks like they might have a conversation. Nice colors, focus and cropping.
Great! |

Very nice capture of an elusive bird. Probably a male, although it is easier to call it when seen from the back. Nice branch removal and cropping. Great focus of the main subject and forward vegetation.
I know that you like to flip the image with the gaze aiming to the left side of the frame. I personally like either direction.
(p.s.: It took me 4 years to get a good capture of this bird (known to breed close to Buffalo) and finally, 3 weeks ago, I was rewarded! - Will post one of my image next month)

Playful big cat! Such a powerful creature that enjoy playing in the water. Really nice and dynamic. Certainly tells a story. Although the drops are making it difficult to have a perfectly sharp tiger, they add so much to the story that it does not bother me. |

Really nice. This view certainly demonstrate the strength of this bird of prey. Sharp core and slight blur of the wing tips but I do not find this as a significant issue.
The blurred background puts this bird in his environment.
I like it. |

This is a Gold Mantled Ground Squirrel. A little bigger than a chipmunk. Seen in the Rockies. (As less stripes than the Chipmumk) |

Thanks for these comments Kathryn,
Up to now, I always skipped the adjustment curve. After you wrote your comments, I played a bit with it and start to understand better it's role.
It would be interesting to see how other photographers are using this tool.

Hi Frans,
I totally agree with you. This forum should allow for open discussion. I progressively change the way I frame my pictures, select sites, process, etc.. by submitting images, reviewing critiques of my and from other contributors.

Nice viewpoint of this iconic bridge. Might be a touch oversaturated from my taste. Nicely framed.

I love your areal shots. I find that the upper portion of the image is a little hazy. If I can, I like to do gentle corrections. I applied a graduated filter from bottom to top with only a slight dehazing.
Keep on sending these pict from down and under! |

Very nice, joyful street scene. I agree with the vertical tweaking from Frans. I have to confess that I am a bit of a stickler to architecture rules unless they are broken on purpose.
Very nice travel souvenir.
Nicely done. |

Hi there,
I like the color gradation from bottom to top and from left to right - very nice balance. Nice diagonal from top left to bottom right. Horizon well positioned. Tastefully applied saturation.
Nice work. |

This is a BIG Tree! Your angle of view and lines are conveying a fantastic perspective. Very nice. The presence of tourists also help to appreciate the size of this gigantic tree.
The only minor issue I find is that this slow shutter speed is responsible for some artifacts caused by the movement of the leaves in the wind. You did not mention your ISO. This camera is very good in low light conditions caused by the high f/stop. |
