Wonderfull lines, textures, shadowy contrasts and great sky. It looks to me that you probably used a polarized filter. Although I really like this B/W version, would you be able to share your color one?
Great shot. |

Great shot. Nice work on Photoshop. I appreciate your warning with the clarity cursor.
There is a new cursor on Lightroom called Texture. Any suggestion on how to use it? |

Great and sharp action shot. These warblers do not stop moving! Not easy to get a shot like this.

Great action shot. Must have been during the sunrise or the sunset as the Osprey should not be orange. A little grainy but this should be easily fixable.
Sharp and no motion blur. Tells a story. |

I like the colors and all the striations.
I am a bit confused with the orientation... were you pointing to the sky from below? Is this the natural angle of all these strata.
I do not change my lenses in this type of environment. One could spend a lot of time getting rid of the sand in the mount/contacts and cleaning the sensor. (Even worse on a beach with salty water drops mixed with the sand!) |

Nice perspective and directing lines. This is certainly an area at risk with the rise in water levels.
I think that some of the bottom could be cropped a little more to emphasize the horizon. |

Really nice shot! I love the contrast between the austere shrine and the moody serpentine lines of the beach and mountains. Very sharp structure with excellent respect of the architectural proportions.
You just forced me to add another destination to my places to see.... |

Wonderful view and colors! I like both photographies (maybe a little too close to the bottom on the second version). Amazing capture of this unique reef. Congrats. |

Very nice work again. I really like the sinuous lines and all the contrasts.
Did you try see what you could produce in B/W?
Congrats for your site. |

Not sure that I would like to climb those steps.... this Temple could be haunted! Is this a sepia type of B/W?
I really like it except that I find the upper left to be a little too bright.
I used a Graduated ND filter obliquely - maybe a little too strong darkening.....

Hi Frans,
My plan was to use my full spectrum (Astro) converted camera for night shots but unfortunately the conditions were not appropriate for that night (full moon + clouds).
I was curious to see what would be the result with the sunset - here we go. No real advantage but more on the "creative" type of shot.
I frequently use this camera with an Infrared filter - more traditional Infrared pictures. Unfortunately, I was camping and did not have my filter! (Anyway this lens does not allow the use of a circular filter - bulgy lens) |
