Wowwww... Really nice. I love it. Like many others, it would be nice to have a bit more sky on both sides (can be added if this is the total width of your picture).
3 pilots in the group! These gannets are amazing.... just consider that there are always other aircraft right on their runway! And rare accidents!

I agree with the previous comments. I lightened your picture and selectively the tall tree in the middle and slightly cropped it. Here we go: |

Very expressive portrait. I wonder what was going on to bet this tongue out and gaze. Very nice and non-distracting blurred background while being tack sharp on the macaque.
Simply beautiful work of art! |

He Dean,
There are significant advantages with a cropped censor. In this case, you have an excellent dept of field (equivalent f stop of 16, 22 mm on a full frame). Everything is crisp. Very nice composition but I would have probably not have cropped that tight.
I am quite impressed with the quality of the pictures I can get with micro 4/3 sensor.
Great work! |

Nice capture. I love Zion but never seen a Goad so close there. Proud and rugged creature.
The front left leg shows some movement artifact but I found it fine. This leg must have been moving fast considering that your shutter speed was 1/125 sec. Moments like this do not last very long... |

You are right. Snow storm, windy, cold, overcast! A desaturated day! (Grey) Miserable day for me, but worse for these birds! |

Thanks for the nice comments. This was a "grey" day - snow storm and overcast. No desaturation needed! |

Focusing was very difficult due to the snow flakes. The focus had to be manual in this case. Furthermore, it was cold and windy...
Thanks for the links. |

An umbrella would not have been useful as it was snowing and the wind was really strong.
Thanks for the nice comments. |

I love it. Nice colors and blends of darker tones while preserving the architectural details. Almost perfect symmetry. One could argue that the camera could have been a bit more on the right to have the same distance between the front posts and the lateral walls of the Temple (for the purists). |

Nice water motion. I would have like less cropping on the top to see where this water is coming from. I also wonder if the picture is slanted (left side lower than right? |

Very nice! I find that the blue sky is somewhat light and faded. This is probably due to the humidity in the air (especially over the water during the summer). In the cold days of winter, the air is much crisper.
To counteract this, I use the dehazing function. I did not do anything else but I believe that it is helping. (I probably pushed it a little much for this demonstration...) |

Great work. Thank you very much for explaining how you achieved this result. I am a bit surprised that I do not see "coma" stars with your 25 seconds exposure. Did you remove the "static" stars from this last series?

I felt bad for these gulls. At least I was dressed properly and not staying there all day! (We are wimps, really....) |

Wow... The Apocalypse is coming! Ominous!
What a wonderful composition. Quite the dramatic sky and I love the full reflection. Wonderful guiding lines. I feel drawn in the picture.
I totally agree with the point you are making with the wide angle lens. I also find, especially with the very wide ones (11 mm or so on a full frame), that keeping the camera perfectly horizontal and straight (using the integrated levels) is essential to avoid significant distortions.

Really nice. I would have like to see a bit more of the left eye but great like this. Very sharp throughout. Nice out of focus and not busy background. Was he/she dancing? |

Perfect. I really like it. I agree with Donna that a bit more room on the right would make it even better. Nice work. |
