Thank you all for these very nice comments.
In respect to the f stop on micro 4/3: I read several articles about it - simple physics. |

Interesting action between the two birds. I found that the beak of the adult one vanish in the strip of sand behind it. I tried to play on the shadows and tweaked the whites and blacks to separate the beak from the background but this is not easy with a small JPG file. Here is what I was able to achieve. |

Babies are so adorable!
I found cropping a very interesting topic. I do not think that there is necessarily a right or a wrong. In this case as this lynx was looking in front and a little to the right of the screen. Because of this, I would suggest this cropping. |

Wow.... Really nice composition. Really unusual to have two caterpillar side by side and being able to get them both in perfect focus. Very nice depth of field. Nice diagonal orientation. Wonderful! |

They are both lovely. Really nice details and textures. The depth of field is amazing with a micro 4/3! |

Lovely! Nice mirror reflection. Good parameter selection.
It is very nice like this, but if it is possible to leave a little more room in front of this Egret, I believe that it would make it even more pleasing. |

You are right. The shadows are there but very faint. I should probably try to enhance them. (Essentially horizontal) |

Nice street photography, but this is not the topic of this group! So many things happening at the same time.... Nice shot! |

Very nice mood...as usual! Subdued tones of green balanced with a blue sky and light clouds. Difficult angle with the sun that wants that is piercing the top left of the scene. I would have tendency to crop the sun out of it and opt for a vertical framing. This would minimize the attraction of the eye to the top left corner and increase the depth impression. |

Nice shot! I like the angle that you decide to capture the scene. It looks to me that this is a very early morning scene as all the street lights are on! The runner adds interest to the scene and also gives an idea of the size of these trees.
Well done. |

Nice! One could see where this heron stabbed this fish. Unfortunately, I am not sure that it will be able to swallow this one.... at least the head is first! Nice and sharp focus. Wonderful! |

I agree with you. I tried to mute the background but was not successful. |

Nice shot! This is a really big boy - no messing around with him. I love the cropping and the narrow depth of field keeping the Elk and the grass under him perfectly in focus, but with a nice out of field foreground and background. Very nice!
p.s.: The title under your picture is misleading.... |
