67 Jul 18 Comment Je suis en accord avec les commentaires précédants. J'aime la version de Richard qui est câdrée plus serré et avec moins de distractions en arrière plan.
J'aime bien.

69 Jul 18 Comment I completely agree with Dean. The moon, especially if full, is the enemy to night photography. This is the reason why your foreground if so well lit. I am baffled at your capture of the milky way with such light conditions. You should try it when you have a completely dark sky but make sure that you have a good flashlight and an easy access to your car (or tent) nearby.
You have 3 plans of interests in your picture: the very near bolder, the gorgeous snow-capped mountain range and the sky. Great start. Please keep on practicing and posting.

69 Jul 18 Comment I Brenda. This is a beautiful capture. Personally, I would remove some of the grass on the bottom, and perhaps try to light up the trees a little. I am not sure that I would keep all that sky but if cropped, the light areas on the top right and left would be removed.
I tried to see what I would do with your original, unfortunately, working with a small JPG file does not allow much latitude. Here it is:

69 Jul 18 Comment Really nice capture. I like all the details in the feathers, the head orientation, the light reflection in the eye and the soft light.
In respect to cropping, I like it like this. Everything is very sharp in the foreground and the bokeh is perfect.
Great job!

69 Jul 18 Comment Amazing how mother nature will make possible the growth of a bush or small tree in such harsh conditions, especially with salt water!
This could be an abstract or a documentary photography.
Nice contrasts. I like the arrangement as it is!
Good catch.

69 Jul 18 Comment Nice capture. With a perfect mirror, I do not have a problem with the horizon to be right in the middle.
Your color palette is very nice.
Question for debate: What to do with the bugs? Without you mentioning the bug issue, I would have said that a major clean up of your sensor is needed! If this picture was to be entered in a contest where no description is allowed, I would very patiently remove all the bugs!
I like it!

69 Jul 18 Comment Very nice capture. Not always easy to get it right with a black bird but you were very successful. Nice Bokeh and no distraction. Great! Jul 8th
