67 Apr 18 Comment Excellente photographies journalistique. Bravo!
Apr 14th
67 Apr 18 Comment Beau travail. Apr 13th

69 Apr 18 Comment Very interesting. When I looked at your original, I could see light in the building on the top of the cliff. As this was suggesting an evening setup, I treated the picture very differently (see attachment). I also added a very slight angle adjustment using the horizon line.

69 Apr 18 Comment Nicely done. I like the lighter water area where the clouds must be less dense. I would remove the bird also. Apr 15th
69 Apr 18 Comment Interesting twist adding an old picture feeling. I like it like this.
It would be great to see the original, and interesting to see what other members of this group would come with this same original.

69 Apr 18 Comment Very nice capture and work with all the Greater Egret details nicely preserved. Apr 15th
69 Apr 18 Comment Thanks for all your comments. I re-cropped this Bufflehead as suggested. Apr 15th
69 Apr 18 Comment Just beautiful. I agree with the comments above in respect to the dark background. I tried to lighten it up a bit using a neutral density filter (following the ridge of the mountains on the left side. Apr 15th
69 Apr 18 Comment Very nice capture and composition. I just find the shadows under the bird a little too dark. I tried to lighten it, unfortunately, it is a bit grainy as I do not have the original file. Apr 15th

70 Apr 18 Comment What a nice scene - wonderful glow with all the lights.
The only problem I found in this great pictures comes from my obsessivity with architectural photography. I straighten the picture a little bit and then tried to adjust all the vertical lines. Unfortunately, this is causing some distortion. The best way to avoid this is to have the camera exactly parallel to the buildings.

70 Apr 18 Comment Very nice colors and leading lines. I am wondering what was your ISO - were you forced to slow down the shutter speed because of the low light and the high f-stop and you did not want to increase your ISO too much, or did you chose the speed on purpose to get the silky water?
I personally like to see the waves (on the ocean) or the small ripples on the water surface on a lake unless the ISO becomes too high and the image very grainy.

70 Apr 18 Comment Just beautiful! Great job.
I agree with Judy. In respect to how long should one use one can try capturing this moment multiple times at different shutter speed and select the best one after. The effect really depends on the speed of the water and the desired result. I personally use a phone application - LExp - as a guide. This app is also very helpful when using neutral density filters. These filters are frequently needed when there is more ambient light.

70 Apr 18 Comment Lovely scene. It looks to me that the clear zone in the sky had burned pixels. There is also a sensor dust spot on the top right of the picture. I removed the dust spot and tried to regain some details but was not very successful (using the graduated neutral density filter). You might be able to fix this in your RAW file but this is much more difficult to correct on a JPG file. Using bracketing shots can help prevent this.
Nice capture.

70 Apr 18 Comment I just love it the way Lamar did it. Just beautiful - really ominous feeling. Apr 14th
