67 Sep 17 Comment J'ai tenté une conversion monochrome. Sep 17th

J'aime beaucoup.

67 Sep 17 Comment J'aime bien.

Sep 17th
67 Sep 17 Comment Simplement superbe!
Bravo!

69 Sep 17 Comment I like it. Fast moving birds can be a real challenge! I do not have a problem with the angle of the shot as the main characteristic of this bird is it's tail.
When trying to catch these one needs to be very judicious in selecting the appropriate set up. Considering a faster shutter speed? Maybe, but the action displayed is great and the bird's head is crisp. On could consider increasing the depth of field as the bird was transverse to the field of view. To acheive this, the ASO needs to be raised but then the quality of the picture would suffer...
Great job!

69 Sep 17 Comment Great catch, preservation of colors, Bokeh, and framing. It takes a lot a patience to catch these very fast birds with good light, backgound, and foreground.
I love it!

69 Sep 17 Comment One of the problems in shooting in JPG is that the camera is using a program to do the processing (Velvia). The viewpoint and perspective are excellent.
The great advantage of saving the file in RAW format is that you can process the image like you want, not using a program that applies a set of correction without considering the picture itself.

69 Sep 17 Comment Just wonderful! I love it.
A great spot to catch these birds is Bonaventure Island in Quebec (close to the tip of the Gaspesie peninsula).

69 Sep 17 Comment Wonderfull! Nice composite image.
I am getting ready for the 2024 total eclipse that will travel right overtop of Buffalo, NY! I would love to be able to do something similar.

69 Sep 17 Comment Great shot! It looks like she was startled by the noise of a small animal roaming around. She is very focused and could jump anytime. Nice muted colors. Love it! Sep 17th
69 Sep 17 Reply I did not do anything special. The background was the top of all the surrounding schrubs that were further away. At 840 mm and f/5.6 the Dept of field is fairly shallow. Sep 8th

70 Sep 17 Comment Great shot, perfect symmetry and excellent perspective. It would be interesting to know your settings (f stop, speed, focal lenght, etc...).
Do you know why they do not allow tripods? Would they allow a monopod? (several tripods can be transformed quickly into a monopod for these occasions.)
I love it.

70 Sep 17 Comment I am not a great fan of these circular images but in this one, I can see myself relaxing, laying on my back in the middle of this Church. Great dynamic range and sunburst effect with a small aperture. Sep 17th
