yes welcome, lovely capture. You definably did a great job Catching the bonding between the lady and horse. the soft blue sky does add to the image. You might also add a hint of a vignette. you can try -9 color vignette which will just give a soft darkening of the edges. |

I like the original image. The view into the scene works. The bridge and the hill on the left works with the perspective. somehow it is lost when cropped in to avoid the dark space. If possible you could bring out a hint of the bush or tree. The new filters in Lightroom would allow you to mask the area and lighten little bit, or using a linier or radial vignette to lighten areas. I think you could play with the lighting that would keep depth of view. Really great night photo.

Yes fun photography. Your focus on the second line is spot on. that is where the charming action is. you caught it right. was your setting F 2-6 range? if you had 16 or higher on a tripod maybe all could be sharp. You captured three levels of Focus-perfect. Re clean up only takeout the pieces of birds on both edges. then decide if you need more.
The second bird from left has two heads do to motion. shutter speed a little slow--sometimes can be intentional. A higher shutter speed would capture fast movement sharper. You could remove the back head if it bothers you.
Ask some serious birders! You have a great Photo.

Limpkins are quick and difficult to spot in tall grasses. I tried a little to bring out some contrast will try some more.
This is very close to as-captured.

my error spelled Limpkin these birds live near shallow waters and hide in tall grasses. It was very unusual to capture this one on a branch with the Spanish Moss behind. I was on photo group boat ride on The St John's River. I used a Nikon ZII set for DX, with a 70-200 lens, a 2x teleconverter. other Phtographers had 400-800 lens's. |
