23 Jul 22 Comment Love the composition, very nice capture. Do agree a little more saturation as Stuart suggested works well.

23 Jul 22 Comment Julia great capture. Brians edits lightening the photo does a good job in bringing out the focus on the birds feeding. and I think it also helps the green blend into the photo more. Jul 26th
23 Jul 22 Comment My first feeling was not to crop. love the light on the water and the sun on the bridge indicating late afternoon before sunset. But cropping on the right as both Marylyn and Shirley said really works. It tidies up some of the extra grass. It also brings the viewer into the image. Yes great improvement. Makes the composition. Also opening up the shadow under the arches just to give a hint of what is there.
Makes a really lovely image.

23 Jul 22 Comment Very nice capture and process. Darkening the upper rock would work. I like the cave there. but the crop also works well and puts the focus on the water and rocks. nicely done. Jul 26th
23 Jul 22 Reply Gaussian blur and canvas textures are often used in a variety of these flower edits. There is no wrong way I am told. Jul 26th

23 Jul 22 Reply This copy has better subject isolation. I did put a texture at 39 % which gave it a bright yellow glow. I would look for a softer yellow. need to have textures resources. trial and error! Jul 25th

23 Jul 22 Reply Thanks. Yes, selecting the subject in this image was very difficult I tried multiple times over several days. Here is my best version which I did over the weekend. Jul 25th
23 Jul 22 Reply Workshop objective was to practice using Photoshop tools to build skills and confidence with editing techniques. Flowers are a great starting space. Extracting the subject, refining or replacing backgrounds using textures, blending modes, low opacity, adding a light layer, a dodge and burn layer all within a nondestructive workflow. Jul 25th
