23 Dec 21 Comment Really great capture.
I went to Yellowstone PSA conference with friend we stayed 8 days. I've been editing those images forever. It was a wonderful experience. created a 100-page book which was too expensive. I did share with family members.

23 Dec 21 Comment Thaks everyone for comments and efforts in editing. nice results. I have 6 or more different edits on my system. for older efforts. Today I just tried again. I took the image
into PS and tried several versions. Used Topaz impressions, medium size brush 05 at 48% saved, next into Topaz AI filter tried several -lost some. here is the most realistic watercolor effect I could. get that balanced the whole image.

23 Dec 21 Comment My first reaction was to wait and comeback. Now that I've had the chance to read all the great comments!
I first thought the crop was too close. When I viewed Bobs version with no border. The original crop works best. It complements the flowing mane. By adding more space above the head, it takes away from the natural flow of the mane. I did like Bob's crop of the neck area. another option might be to soften the sharp detail in the just enough to keep detail softer but still there. suggest a bold name that expresses the wind and flow of the mane.

23 Dec 21 Reply Thanks Bob. I do want to do this image justice and get best results. Both yours and Brians efforts show what is possible in different directions. thanks. Dec 5th
23 Dec 21 Comment The soft pastel effect works and reminds me of the type of image found in in hotels and public palaces. If it was grouped with 1-2 others of similar subject and style.

23 Dec 21 Reply Bob, Also Love the deeper contrast in your edits and like your suggestions to simplify. It was all about the
lighting. We were focusing on the Bridge of Lions in St. Augustine. I just happened to stop and turn around and saw these lovely colors.
