I was first taken by how happy the couple is. your story of how they got there is great. Your photo is very well done.
one to be proud of for sure. yes I hope they bought a very large print. |

this is interesting image. the dabbing process to add colour had to take time. It gives it a mystical Chinese effect. The lady or ghost creates conflict with he quiet scene. What is she trying to say. Do you have a title to direct the viewer? |

I like this composition.. it the colors are effective and the the planes are very sharp (which everyone loves). You filled the whole screen- spectators delight. |

Yes this does work well as B/W. the frame also dates the image to a traditional old process. Did they identify the year these were in service. nice treatment. |

The sand is Coquina schell found in the St Augustine to Flagler Beach area and has this orange tone. the photo was taken at Matanza inlet a favorite location for shooting sunsets by local photographers. I added indian summer from Nik filter and it poped the orange/red in the girls dress a gave a tad boost to the sand-which is really that color.
Sand was newly exposed from the hurricane and the wooden boardwalk and steps were destroyed. |

Thanks you caught the essence of what I felt when I saw what was possible. I am glad the blur on the water worked. |

thanks I appreciate that you saw what I was trying to convey.
my first take was to delete the image but the little girl had enough focus to try and work with it. I've been hearing that a picture should tell a story. The title should be "After the Storm" |
