23 Jul 20 Reply My initial intent was to go B/W but when I played with the color sliders in lightroom this image had strong color come out where other images taken in sequence didn't so I think it was a moment when the clouds broke out there and let the sunlight through briefly. I will go back and try a B/w version Jul 19th

23 Jul 20 Comment Thanks very much I will do some edits to this image. I will definitely crop as you all suggest and look into ways to give it a little punch. I was tossed up from the light was just breaking from being all grey to some sunlight breaking through. Jul 18th

23 Jul 20 Comment great shot of Butterfly. Macro lets you get so close. great capture. I would adjust the background a tad. Shift the tone a little, or add some shadow, or maybe a filter to add some soft texture to background. what would those blend if filters do. Jul 9th

Definitely something to try now.

23 Jul 20 Comment Have to agree the focus is on the tree. It is so strong and bold. When I squint and pull back and block most of the tree to see the waterfall. Have been reading a lot about composition and have heard many critiques where the Focus is key to your subject. A great technical photo of the harsh environment of our National Park. You have a documentary photo. Jul 9th
