I had the wonderful opportunity to live in Canberra AUS for 4 years, My husband was assigned to the Embassy, My children were in middle and high school while I went to the University and studied Industrial Design. 1980-84 only made short trips to Sydney then. This time I toured the Opera House. Walked over the Harbor Bridge visited Blue Mt. and still didn't have enough time. Sydney has changed so much over the years. Still an Amazing City and country. |

I am working with my new mirrorless camera also. my camera as yours also captures very sharp detail and there is much hidden in the raw files. was there more snow in the lower part of the image. Can you bring out more shadows in the mounds. Even just a hint of shadows in the forefront would pull the viewer to into the image. The snow on the pine is lovely and the hint of yellow in the horizon tell me there is more color hiding in the sky. just a tad more contrast in sky using the Luminosity slider in Lightroom yellow and blue. test other color slider to see if there is other contrast. |

definitely dramatic shot. The angle of the pose moving out of the frame along with the intensity of expression of intent really works. great editing transition to BW. Not sure if more space above head is needed. He is already moving out of the frame toward the viewer. |

Yes the weather was overcast with rain and fog unusual for Sydney Australia which has reputation for sunny weather.
We stayed total of 4 days in Sydney. We took two ten day cruises. one along coast to Port Douglas and another around New Zealand for 10 days. We saw highlights. Yes Australia has been in over 5 years of drought. they urgently needed rain. |
