23 Jan 19 Comment yes those cattle egrets are funny little birds. I tried to capture some at the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine and they do have the orange hue during nesting season. so try adjusting white balance to more of a daylight hue should change from pink to orange. His beak is spot on as is his expression. nice crop. Jan 28th

23 Jan 19 Comment The Calla Lilly is lovely as is the blurred back ground. It makes a stunning photo without the vase if you crop with a portion of the stem and keep the stamen in. The lighting then jumps out as a complement the beautiful flower. I love the vase but it takes away from the flower and the beautiful lighting. create a another image with the vase it really distracts from the lighting you captured in the flower and background. Your eye will then go to the Stamen and circle around the beautiful light of the flower. Simple and lovely Jan 28th
23 Jan 19 Comment Capturing an ambiance, mood and feeling can be difficult. How to capture smell in an image. The weather had to be very pleasant. I understand the river cruise ships do not provide much height to shoot from. Which castle is in the background. Cropping out your ship will also work nicely but the memory for you is on the Viking Cruise. Jan 28th
23 Jan 19 Comment thanks all for great comments. Yes it is a busy image but the place is famous for the fish toss and couldn't delete much I did a little cropping and tried to use shadows and light to focus on the fish in hand. they had completed their evening show and were packing up for the night. there was one shot where the tail of the fish was in the right hand edge but not enough to notice. Also checked and it is very graining. will go back and try and reduce some of the grain. thanks adelet Jan 28th
