I straightened slightly and used level then added soft vignette and darkened the blue sky at top a bit. |

Definitely a fun image to add to your collection of shoes. Background texture is well chosen and with a little touch up on the white halos a perfect one for your collection. really does bring a smile to my face also. |

We are all having a turn with your image. I too like the vertical version. Shows more depth to the landscape and your editing tones are very nice. the three sections of sand lead into the darker land cliff very nicely.
It seems that these images could be edited in variety of color tones. it all depends on your vision of the capture. |

love the focused expression, Addie is adorable. Pink Baseball mitt add cute touch. well done. the original photo with her playing with the sand is great also but since it didnt capture her face it is a great second shot.
when I shoot tennis players keep the speed 1/500 or higher.
and often move the ISO up to 800. more light gets sharper image even in sunshile. I like the slight blurred background.

Richard have to agree with every one this is very creative montage. It really makes a statement. yes the whites are a bit bright. but your edited version you took all the whites out and it blurs together too much. So it does need some separation maybe a very pale sepia tone over the white areas.
In photoshop add an adjustment layer and brush a pale tone over the white areas on the layer so not to disturb your original. |

Yes very nice portrait. excellent subject and great editing. I didn't notice the ear blob until Shirley mentioned it so yes do clone it out if you can. the green is a little bright. Still a charming photo. |

Yes a long way down to the man wading into the water. The photo of the crater composition works well. the angle of the lower edge by the water adds to the image. I am surprised that the water isn't very cold. What is the sense when swimming in the crater with no bottom to access. Have people tried to dive down? How deep is it.
The shot is amazing and definitely captures the barren landscape.

Dave, Richard and Sherry..thanks for great comments. I really loved taking these photos. I did enter both images each in a separate exhibit. neither of them were strong enough to win an award on their own. This one is more like an Architectural Rendering-the soft finishing I used. I thought they both addressed lighting and shadow. on another side the Fireworks photo I put in earlier won Best of Show in two different exhibits. The Cypress tree reflection won a red ribbon in a show also but nothing in another exhibit. See It All depends on the display the mood and the judge. a reall learning experience.
Dave I will address the horrizon... and try and straighten again. will look at the balance.
thanks |
