23 Mar 18 Comment the picture in red is stunning. very nice. the shadows are good just enough. for the style of the image the wet lip look and color is perfect and capture the light. Draws the eye in to the center of photo to get full impact. I didn't notice the watch the first look but now that I know it is there. A more delicate watch or bracelet would be better but I wouldn't change it now. In a commercial publication it would be perfect. love the original totally different effect. Mar 19th
23 Mar 18 Comment Great comments. Getting real painterly effects are tough to get. Yours in a great fun start. agree with Dave when he said he wanted to see more. maybe just a little more in front. I've been trying out the Impressions feature in Topaz and find it depends so much on the image as much as the use of filters. first I set the texture to be canvas in Photoshop before applying filters. I found a Degas I filter that I liked Here is small sample. a portion of a photos of pirates in St Augustine. the lady with cell phone and sun glasses doesn't quite work! Mar 19th
23 Mar 18 Comment Thanks Dave. I printed this photo on Epson Metallic Luster paper which gave it a nice soft sheen. I thought it enhanced the soft effect against the harsh beak and bark. Mar 8th
