23 Dec 17 Comment wow thanks for all comments. this storm came through fast. temp went from 75 to freezing, wind hail and lighting. everyone ran for shelter and the bus that came to pick everyone up. I stayed back and kept shooting. soaked. Last one on bus. Never shared this image or entered it in any show. Edited it many times. thanks wasn't sure I had caught it just right. but it does have an impact. Taken 4 in afternoon they cleared the whole south rim of the CG park in less than an hour with buses. I did use some dehaze in the background to bring out the detail edited in Lightroom only. Dec 18th

23 Dec 17 Comment yes the crop is really good. and the starburst well done. have tried several times and not had great results. Your image is great. like the detail in the rock and the snow contrast. Dec 18th
23 Dec 17 Comment yes I like the color version better. toned down a bit. not sure about the cropping though the large rock is in the vertical thirds and if cropped would mess up the composition. like the rainbow effect on the water and rock.
Could you have moved left or right to change the angle some what?
