Lovely photo from Yellowstone. Yes Brian crop from bottom works and doesn't take anything away from the drama in the river banks. You also captured the calcified trees that amazed me when at Yellowstone someone referred to them as 'Bobby sock' trees. |

All comments are spot on. the silky look of the water is great and the light on the wall in the background leads to the viewer into the direction of the river. Really gorgeous photo. |

Very lovely garden photo. the Lupins are gorgeous for sure. The red flower adds to the photo. You captured a great photo with your Nikon 100. |

Yes I do agree a very nice capture. I like Richard crop at the top removing the black lines. And also Brian's crop which doesn't take away from the spume waves. Also after taking a third look the bringing out the detail in the feathers really does work very nicely. |

Brian the photo of the steam train is just right. if you cropped more from the building on the right it wouldn't work. The left side is perfect as is. Love the steam and distant scene. |

Marilyn and Linda Thanks for comments re cropping. here is larger image cropped from original which shows more of the near harbor. Brian this area was so busy I chose to crop most out-Like the kids in the skate rink though! was also working with a 1 or 2 thirds crop. |
