Now that I've read all the comments I must admit that I think more like Bev and I'm sorry to say I don't really understand what the rest of you see in that image. You are definitely entitled to your opinion though and maybe someday I'll have a broader outlook. |

I like Bev's changes so the building is white. I think I would crop off the right part (up to the main building) and I like Tom's addition of more street at the bottom. I would not throw it out. |

Thanks! I like that reflection too. I have a nephew that has gone to Old Forge a lot and grandson at Paul Smith College along a lake near Lake Placid. |

It looks like you did not finish your info about the image. It's an interesting image but I would probably have preferred it to be a little sharper. |

I'm afraid to say anything except that it is great because you are such a good photographer! I too love the bright car and the fact that it is sharp. The one thing that bothers me is that it looks like it should be white, not gray. Was it really that color? I guess I agree with Mary that it could have a little more space on the left and maybe less on the right so the car would have more space in front of it. However, that may have been impossible. |

I love it! Before I figured out if was a boat house, I thought there was flooding. What lake is it? I suppose Tom's suggestion is good but again, before he pointed it out, I did not notice that lighter part. |

I did not notice the catch lights being different sizes, the lines under eyes, not the purple spot until Stuart and Tom mentioned them - guess I'm not very observant. All I saw was a lovely girl. I think I like the plain background best.

I'm not sure if I like this sky or the other one better but they both convince me that I really must learn to do sky replacements. If I can ever get my computer, photoshop and everything technical to stop creating problems for me, I might have time to learn how. Thanks so much for all your help. |
