Thank you! I did not even notice the blue until you told me. |

Another great portrait - seems like that's what I always say and I like what you said about the light and how you dealt with it and that you talked to him to get his cooperation. All that made we wonder if you've ever taught a portrait course and think you should.
Then I looked at Bev's comments and her adjustments. That made me notice the background and I do think the smoother, blurred background is better (I had not noticed it before because the face was so compelling). Then I also noticed that the horn was not totally sharp and thought you could have used slightly more depth of field to take care of that problem. Again, I did not notice that in the beginning so I still think it's a great portrait. |

I like Bev's crop too because I was bothered by the unsharp rocks in the foreground. I do wonder why you did not use more depth of field that would also have helped that problem. I like the way you see and think about things. I am not a B&W person but I do wonder if this would not make a striking monochrome image. |

I immediately thought that kids had made the signs and wondered how old they were. Then I wondered if you had used a flash and were hand-holding and if a flash would have made the center so much lighter. Next I'm wondering how you used luminescence to smooth it out and what you smoothed out. All of this as I was trying to decide whether I liked the image or not. I guess I do even though it may not do well in competitions. It is the kind of image I use in my scrapbooks all the time to remind me of someplace I've been. I may have tried to darken the center part a little but that would have depended on my mood when working on it. |

Interesting image and I'm wondering if the place was closed for the lock-down or if it's always closed. I know nothing about Polarr Photo Editor but in Lightroom I probably would have played around with Transform to see if I could get the supports to be a little straighter. I'm not sure it would work but I've been amazed at what I can do with that. The only other things I wish is that the clouds were not that heavy but you can't have everything. |

And here I thought you had taken this at night and I was wondering how you got the lightness all around the rock. I guess I may have to get Luminar. I also love the rock and for a minute wondered if it was Balance Rock on Mount Desert Island in ME but then I read your comments. Great image. |
