I love her expression and eyes. I think I would have liked a little more to be sharp, like the candles, but if that would detract from her face, it may not be a good idea. I am amazed at how you can get someone to pose for you - I would never have the nerve to ask. |

I definitely agree with cropping it. I think you could get rid of some of the bright part in the upper left and then just darken what is left so that the flower is not competing with all the greenery. I'm also wondering if you could decrease the highlights a little and open up the shadows some but maybe you would not like that effect.
I'm not sure why you used such a high ISO and given that you did why I can't really see much noise. Of course, I'm very bad at spotting noise but I'm told that a high ISO is likely to give a lot of noise. Anyway, it is a lovely flower and I'm glad you joined our group. |

I love this image and agree with the other comments. I do wonder if the horizon is straight though. I still love it even if it isn't. |

I love sunsets and this one is gorgeous. I agree with Bev that cropping off some of the top really improves the image. I may have tried opening up the shadows on the pier but that's a matter of taste. Glad you're in our group now. |

I love it, probably more so because I used to play the pipe organ in church when I was in HS and college. Those organs did not have all those lights and controls at the top. I love the contrasts and I'm glad to see that someone with hands like mine is still playing. My only question is why is that red pen on the upper keyboard? |
