Interesting comment. I guess I never really thought about the fact that I was shooting art because I was trying to get pictures that would demonstrate Washington. I don't think I did a good job of that though. Glad to know what you are thinking. |

Lovely colors - was that real or did you "improve" it. I would have loved to be there.
I am very curious about the trees?, poles? with signs on them and wish I could see what they said.
I sort of agree with Jamie about the sun being in the middle but on the other hand I find it interesting that you one of the "signs" right in the middle of the sun.
I may have tried to open up the shadows on the grasses to see if that improved the image but overall it is an interesting image. |

This is not someone else's art, just a gorgeous photo of a vegetable. I love it and am glad I don't have to think about photographing art anymore right now. |

OK - I'm trying to understand why this also isn't someone else's art? I love the patterns and color and the whole thing is done well. I probably would not have commented about that but I had just read your comments and you see what I said and then opened this and I could not help but think "what's the difference?" I'm not upset about your comments on mine and I hope I'm not upsetting you (Bev and Jamie) but I think it is a good thing to be discussing and is something I've wondered about many times as I watch the judging of photos of sculptures, etc. |

OK - I know Bev and Jamie are right but in my defense I did have to get it straight and use transform to make the wall stand up straight, work in LR to make it pop more, and crop it to get rid of extraneous stuff. I guess I won't submit any more photos of art though. |
