48 Aug 18 Comment You are absolutely right! However, I don't know how to do that. Aug 27th
48 Aug 18 Reply Thanks for these comments. Now I have a lot to work on. Aug 15th
48 Aug 18 Comment I thought I commented on this a few days ago but since it isn't here now, I'll try again. I like the angle of the arm and the sharpness of everything. It is rather creepy but is done well. Glad you're back! Aug 10th
48 Aug 18 Reply Thanks! Too bad I couldn't ask the person to wear something different. Aug 8th
48 Aug 18 Reply Thanks! I'm always curious about how people get their shots. Aug 8th
48 Aug 18 Comment Another great portrait. I can't see much difference between yours and Bev's versions so I like them both. For some reason I think the white shirt is more disturbing in Bev's version but this probably makes no sense. On further inspection I think I like the eyes better in Bev's version because they are slightly brighter. Anyway, I love the image! Aug 6th
48 Aug 18 Comment I love the image especially because I have never been there nor have I seen pictures, only just hear about the Western Wall. Somehow I did not realize there would be chairs there. Now my interest has been aroused and maybe I'll try to find out more about it. Aug 6th
48 Aug 18 Comment I like it too, although I think I like the color version just as well as the B&W. I'm just wondering where you took it from? Aug 6th
48 Aug 18 Comment I love the colors and agree with Richard that it made an OK image into something very special. I'm glad a real bird got into it but I wish I could identify it, not that that detracts from the image. Maybe I'll have to break down and spend some money on filters - I'm a cheapskate and try to do everything in LR or PS. Anyway, a great image. Aug 6th
48 Aug 18 Reply I guess I wanted to keep more of the bottom part but I might try a different crop. That could probably get rid of the bothersome light pole too. Of course, I could practice getting rid of it with content aware too. My other thought about making it more centered was that maybe off center would be more interesting - don't we often get told not to have things centered? Aug 6th
48 Aug 18 Reply Thanks - I'll try this when we get home. I had tried to lighten it some in LR but your method seems better. I'll have to practice more with content aware because I never seem to get good results when I try it. Aug 6th
