Thanks, Neil. If I ever find time, I may try to clone out that structure but knowing me, I'll never get around to it. |

I opened the image in Photoshop and used the white eye dropper and this is what I got. Is that what you meant?
I never noticed that structure but when I enlarged it, I could see that it was a man-made thing. Thanks for pointing it out. |

Thanks! We were so glad to discover Oregon a few years ago and wondered why it had taken so long to do so. This is just one of the great scenes there. |

Hildi, I did discuss the blue with my husband and he said the blue is because of the high altitude so it is a natural color that occurs at high altitude. I could warm it by adding a little yellow but I'm hesitant to mess with it. |

To me the lighting and eyes are perfect. When I first looked at it, I thought it would be nice to have a lighter background so his hat would stand out a little more but that would probably then detract from his face. He looks natural because you did not try to smooth out his skin or get rid of the stubble which seems to happen too often. |

The monkey is very cute but I can't figure out what he's chewing on and what that is hanging out of the right side of his mouth. I'm also wondering what lens you used and whether you enlarged it a lot. Much of it does not look very sharp to me. I would probably have cropped off the right side (up to the tip of the green leaf). |

I like the crispness of your image - it's much better than the original. Was it snowing or just cloudy? I never seem to be able to get a decent image of the woods. |

It's always fun when you can find these bears but I always wish I was closer (which you cannot do) or have a longer lens so they would be bigger. However, they do look good in their environment. I'm not sure I would crop very much off the left because I would want enough space for the mama to walk into. As for sharpening, how do you know when it is too much. I've been told to look for a line around the image but I can't tell if it is from sharpening or whether it is just the natural light and the way they look. |

Wow - I agree with Hildi that it is a great image. Before I read your comment I was trying to figure out how you could have done it. I too would probably crop a little off the top but not too much. The bubbles add something to the image. |

I love the colors and cannot comment on the boat. I do not have an opinion on the shadow because I don't know how it should look. I would like to know what all the light lines around all the dark parts on the right side of the image and all along the shore and a little beyond are and why they are there? Thanks. |

Thanks! It is a gorgeous place. I'm going to have to ask my husband to help with the blue problem because I don't think I did anything to increase the blue. But I'll try to work on it. |
