It was difficult to get closer without risking my camera rigs, and I had limited time to shoot. He also was not out in the water for long. I got some better shots of Moro Rock later on, but the surfers for the most part were too far out to shoot well. |

It's hard to tell if the butterflies are flying into the disk or out of it. I think that trying to show the butterflies rising up from the disk like MC Escher had in some of his woodcuts would be something to try.

Great subject - Lots of detail, a feast for the eyes evoking the westward migration. Excellent capture, and post-processing. |

Very nice image - I like the cloud reflection making the pond to be very deep.
If you are going to be shooting moving subjects, you need to adjust for a fast shutter speed. The easiest way to do this is to shorten the exposure time and compensate by using a higher ISO setting. This will provide less blurring due to a moving subject. It also helps if you have lots of natural illumination. A good place to practice with different settings is to shoot moving water. That is probably the most difficult subjects to "Freeze". |

These creatures are magnificent! Your image captures the impressive size of them without a reference frame. Yes, it is monochromatic, but that is what is available. Lots of detail in the image to explore. |
