Yes, unfortunately there are distracting factors in this image. And it appears most of the plants are of the same color tone and don't have any stand out features. The pods of the milkweed plant are clumpy at this stage but are great when the leaves are gone and the pods open with seeds. I'd give the pods a try when they have opened out.
We have restored our 22 acres to prairie also and it is so rewarding to see the vegetation and wildlife thrive. I'm glad you are documenting your prairie. |

This looks great both ways. I don't see any problems with it. The little "textures" of the rock adds to the picture. The rising up could be an abstract "flower" and the down definitely looks like a footprint. I made note of this location since I think our grandkids would love to see this. Thanks for sharing this image. |

This is a nice image. I like it in the sepia color. It's sharp and has nice "texture" with the dew or rain drops. And I think by having it in one color, the one potentially bright spot in the upper right isn't distracting. |

This is fantastic. Such an unusual image with great 3D, nice color, and interesting subject. There is much to look at but most of all, those arms and legs all lead to an incredible head/face. I'll use my 3 year old granddaughter's favorite word...astounding! |
