David, I don't understand what disparity is. I never heard of this before. Are you saying the woman should have been moved forward from the tree to give more distance? And just the trunk and not the wall? |

I found the background rather distracting with bright spots and so much going on. The woman and her clothing/jewelry are beautiful yet my eyes wander to what's behind her. And it is true what Brian says, that travel images do much better if a "sense of place" is in the image.
I must admit I have no idea what the disparity of an image means...and how can we be aware of it if we don't have a TV? |

This was taken on the slope of a hill, which is basically what the Palouse area is...all hills. I cut out the sky/horizon since it was too bright but maybe it would have given more of a feel for the slopes and more feeling of balance. |
